If you are following my instagram (@everytaneiwear), you'll be aware that I bought a silk collared blazer from Zara (HK$799, order here) which is slightly over my normal price-range for a day-to-day essential piece. I tend to shop on items below HK$399 and mount up to a total of HK$800-1000 per transaction (yes, HK$399 is an awkward number but that's pricing strategy at Zara...what can I say LOL), I broke the rule this time. Why? Firstly, most blazers have an elongated shape where the hem basically covers your bottoms. This blazer in particular comes in a shortened-hem which fits perfect for a petite size Asian girl. Secondly, the collar is made of silk-like material but remained sturdy and crisp. I couldn't think of any reason not to get it. I mean, I do have white silk-collared blazer from H&M...but the hemline is longer and it's a different colour (the inner shopaholic speaking)!

For rest of the look, I paired my nude pumps with a pair of ankle-length trousers from H&M, and the top was a spaghetti strap given by mom. The featured item of this look must be the fuchsia patterned trousers and my shocking orange Louis Vuitton bag. Very simple yet slightly vintage look! Trying to stay professional for work at the same time :)
