Today my code of workwear was blue. Navy blue has always been the choice of British Royalty. It's a very subtle colour that compliments with all the colourful tones but also an exotic twist from the classic black. Blue is also the colour of trust and responsibility based on some psychology research :)

I only decided to add a fedora hat on when I did the photoshoot, didn't have the guts to wear this to work at the Dior office lol. The navy blue top was an ageless piece from Marks & Spencer passed on from mom, matched with the navy blue and white printed pants from Zara. I pondered on whether I should wear a necklace, but the patterns on the pants were strong enough to be the key of the look, so instead of wearing a necklace I put on a thin leather belt to draw a clear cut between my upper and lower body. To finish the look, I only had to match the blue look with my Sam Edelman lace up heels. A pointy pair of heels never goes wrong, especially when the laces would give an impression of skinnier and longer legs!
