Hi guys, since you all have been asking, here comes my very rare beauty blog post (yeahhh..hurray!) I mean it really takes some effort and time to do a beauty blog compared to fashion tips. But hey, I'm gonna share some tips on How to create spider lashes by only using mascara, no lash curlers at all, no fake lashes. Purely organic :)
I've picked Maybelline out of them all, because it is one of the most debated brand in terms of good quality mascaras and I've so far tried out 4 of the series. I've been using Maybelline since I was back in the UK, the red one was bought 4 years ago and the descriptions were gone I can't even remember which collection it is.

Before you start watching the video, I'd like to talk about the difference between wands made of different bristles. This is essential to the effects that a mascara can create. People often just talk about brands, but they missed out the fact that plastic bristles (on top) and natural bristles (bottom) can make a huge difference. I personally prefer plastic bristles for Asians, because the friction it gives to the lashes when applying lengthens the lashes instantly. Although THE COLOSSAL and THE FALSE LASHES received high reputation in European countries, it doesn't do a great job in curling my lashes. I ended up with an extended flat eyelash, just pointing out like sharp knives LOL.
Now, check out my first makeup tutorial comparing how people typically applies mascara, and by simply holding the wand and closing your eyes can make a great difference.
I know some people suggest applying mascara by tilting down your head so that you face the ground, and holding your mirror below. Trust me, this way by flickering your eyes works so much better. Also, you will need to throughly brush your lashes from left to right to avoid placing too much products in the middle of your eye. All these takes practice, so good luck to you girls and let me know if you have any comments :)
