After the Hermès Leather Forever Exhibition travelled through London, Madrid and Rome, it's finally making it's third stop in Asia, this time it's in Hong Kong! To be honest, joining Dior has slightly altered my life. Not in the sense that I'm being vain, but I tend to appreciate art in a better way. If you have always followed my blog, you'll know that my path towards Dior have started with me being an Artpiece Narrator at the Lady Dior As Seen By Exhibition. This time I step into another exhibition with a new perspective, but I found it so familiar. I appreciated it so much especially when the narrators approached me and pointed to the details, I felt like it was me once upon a time.

Of course a lot of the pieces showcased in the exhibition were archives dating back to the 1920s, when aristocrats still depend a lot on travel suitcases. In the photo right below, the USB and iPad cases were blended in to the stationaries used in the old days.

Apart from displaying archives from Hermès back in the 1920s, there was also an artisan booth displaying some of the know-hows and the explanation on the difference between the 'Birkin' and the 'Kelly' bags. The two storeys exhibition was really mind-fulfilling and exuberant, visitors could even enjoy an interactive horse-ride to feel the luxury of Hermès English saddle.

Best part of the show, was the the two Hermès custom made "Passe Guide" bags inspired by the Hong Kong nightlife, which are presented in a small theatre towards the exit.
