Pink Preppy Look

Wrong choice of a loose belt, I would have worn my pants higher :) See how it looked better in the next photo when I tucked it tight...

Yesterday, Hong Kong was hit by a superstorm Usagi, which has brought about typhoon no. 8 in the evening. In preparation for the bad weather, I put on my loafers just in case heavy rain pours. To be honest, I think flip-flops in the rain is a very bad idea. I don't understand why people would love to have a wet feet in the rain. Even worse, flip-flops tends to splash water from the ground to the lower leg level, which always gets your pants wet and dirty! Anyways, I went for a lunch date with my grandparents before typhoon signal 8 was hoisted. See that photo of the cute banner I took outside Marketplace, 'stock up now!' LOL... Indeed, photos of empty supermarket stacks have been circling around yesterday as the public was worried what the superstorm would brought about! This reminded me of the hilarious scenario during the Japanese radioactive leak incident. It was rumoured that salt intake could protect people from radioactive substances that blow across the sea from Japan, so salts were sold out everywhere!!

Rare photo of fully stocked supermarkets
You can see the bad weather and people carrying umbrellas around
I love the outside decoration of this shop! If you are familiar with HK, that building with triangular shapes is the Bank of China that stands among the commercial buildings in Central.
Before I could do more shopping with my mom, we had to make a move upon hearing the announcement H&M @Langham Place made, that typhoon signal 8 would be hoisted on or before 7pm. So that brought an end to my wonderful weekend :)
